The Royal Navy Submarine Museum at Haslar Marina in Gosport offers the unique opportunity to go inside and explore a real WWII submarine plus much more. You can trace the history of submarine development, from Alexander the Great to the giant nuclear powered Vanguard class of the present day. The Museum also serves as the Regimental Headquarters for past submariners, housing a large collection of photographs, transcripts, artifacts and archive material.
The submarine experience is brought to life during your tour of the HMS Alliance, commissioned in 1947, which is enhanced by the first hand knowledge of an ex-submariner guide who takes you around. The museum also houses a large collection of submarines and torpedoes on display, together with galleries and plenty to see!

Gosport Buzz Review
“We live locally and have the excellent ‘Portsmouth Dockyard All Attraction Ticket’ which includes unlimited entry the Submarine Museum at Haslar Marina. We’ve visited quite a few times over the years but enjoy it every time. Go inside a real submarine on the tour which is very interesting and informative and has been improved over the years feature-wise. All in all, there’s a quite a lot to see at the museum for young and old.”
