Personal Trainer Gosport

With the rising cost of living, gym and health club memberships are not viable for everyone but Body Blast Bootcamp is!

Our 4 week fitness programme is suitable for everyone at all levels of fitness. The course is designed by experienced, fully qualified and registered trainers who will assist you through your exercise course and work on your personal nutrition to ensure that you achieve your goals.

Our courses run every 4 weeks in Gosport, Stubbington and Petersfield and each session lasts 45 minutes.

If you aren't sure if a group training solution is right for you, we also offer 1-2-1 Personal Training in the South Hampshire area. Please contact us for further details.

Locations

Gosport Camps

Sessions are held at Privet Park, Privet Road on:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 18.30 hrs - £72 per 4 weeks
  • Tuesday and Thursday at 09.30 hrs - £38 per 4 weeks (Mum's boot camp - why not bring the children with you, children must be aged 5 and over)

(Everyone to meet at Gosport cricket pavilion 5-10 minutes before the start time)

Petersfield Camps

Sessions are held at Avenue Playing Fields on:

  • 07.00 hrs Monday, Wednesday & Friday - £75 per 4 weeks
  • 10.30 hrs Tuesday & Thursdays - £50 per 4 weeks (especially for Mums wanting to get in shape!)
  • 19.15 hrs Monday & Wednesday - £50 per 4 weeks

What to Bring

Please bring all documents from our website (www.bodyblastbootcamp.co.uk/documents.html) filled out and signed before the start of your first session together with any outstanding money owed for the course fee - cash or cheque accepted.

The Team

Rhian

I've been working as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist for 4 years after gaining my BSc in science and management of exercise and health through the University of Surrey.

I work with a range of clients varying in ages, fitness abilities and goals. It is important to me that everyone I work with enjoys, and most importantly, is successful with their sessions. Exercising safely & appropriately to an individual's fitness requirements and postural needs is of the up most importance when I am training a client, what ever the session may entail.

As a sports massage therapist I also work alongside a physio team and work with clients with either sport specific injuries or general muscular tightness. This has developed my knowledge in the field of injuries and rehabilitation giving me a greater ability to train and treat people safely and effectively.

As a trainer, I strive to ensure everyone I work with achieves their fitness goals. I see great results by working with people not just on their fitness alone but also their nutrition and general lifestyle habits. My aim is to create a lifestyle change not just a quick fix.

Kelly

Health and Fitness has always played a significant role in my life, competing in cross countries and road races from the age of 16, I continue to exercise daily and have competed in a 5km race finishing 2nd position. Transferring this enjoyment into a professional career gave me ability to understand individual’s needs and adapt programmes to cater specifically. Working in this environment begun at the age of 20, when I took an interest into circuit training attending regular classes and gradually qualifying as a fitness consultant. For the past seven years I have been working across the Hampshire region covering many aspects of fitness training, focusing primarily on teaching studio classes, and specialising in:

  • Circuit training
  • Exercise to music
  • Body conditioning
  • Step aerobics
  • Aqua aerobics
  • Spinning
  • Over 50s club

At the age of 18 I took part in Camp America, leading outdoor fitness sessions on a daily basis for children aged between 12 to 17 years which gave me my initial background into teaching, planning sessions and structuring the day’s activities to enable a fun fulfilling but effective summer camp. It gave me the ability to understand outdoor pursuits, with health and safety being a key focus.

Travelling increased my self-confidence and the opportunity to work amongst a variety of different cultures. The constant change in environments allowed me to learn to adapt promptly and professionally, strategically working to gain experience and knowledge within the fitness field.

Australia was my most memorable period of working with clients on a one-to-one basis, of all age, shapes and sizes. The individuals ranged from novices through to professional Australian athletes. I spent 3 months working at The University of Sydney in 2000, whereby I assisted individuals to achieve their desired sporting and fitness goals. Following this experience I returned to the UK, to passionately further my career and achieve my all time personal goal of setting up a Boot Camp to continue to help others.

"I started Bodyblast Bootcamp 6 weeks ago, nervous and apprehensive not knowing what to expect or how I would feel. I have not done any physical exercise for 10 years and my weight soon caught up with me, I was a size 38" - 40" waist and weighed 97.5 - 98kg (15st 4lb).

I did a fitness test at the beginning which comprised of a mile run which I completed in 8mins 35sec, press ups in 1 minute which I achieved 18, sit ups in a minute which I achieved 52 and squats again in 1 minute which again I achieved 52.

4 weeks later I did the same fitness test only this time with marked improvements, I knocked 1min 5sec off my mile run (7mins 30sec) completed 45 press ups (up by 27) in a minute and also increased both sit ups and squats by 5 each to 57 in a minute.

My weight has dropped to 94.5/95kg (14st 10lb), so far i've lost 3kg/7lb and I'm now in an easy 38" waist and dropped a belt hole size. All this has been gained by following the advice and fact sheets given out each week by the instructor and by having that 1 on 1 feeling of knowing, that for every problem you think you've got your instructor has an answer for you to try and get realistic results for your satisfaction.

What's more it's fun, it's in the fresh air and above all you make new friends. I've had a great time and have extended my time with Bodyblast Bootcamp and intend on doing so until I reach my own goals.

The only thing I have left to say is go for it, work at it and most of all stick with it and enjoy it."
