'Gosport Buzz' was created in May 2007 and is a local website
created by local people, offering
Gosport and Lee on Solent traders the opportunity to advertise
their business professionally, locally and at a low cost. Our site also provides resources to help businesses grow and run smoothly.
The ideas came together after discussions between Cindy
Robins who runs Prickly
Pear Design and Martin
Duffy who has a wealth of knowledge and get-up-and-go
that never ceases to amaze.
The website, like any other,
is still under development and is growing and changing over time. If you
have any suggestions or comments on any aspect of the site,
please let us know. We appreciate your feedback.
Cindy
runs Prickly
Pear Design, a web & graphic design company
based in Alverstoke in Gosport, and as a business owner,
is always keen to help other businesses grow.
Through her own experiences, she understands the up's and down's associated
with running a small business and is more than happy to help.
She also knows websites and has over 10 years experience in
the field of web design, graphic design, photography and website optimisation both in the USA and UK.
Cindy spent 8 years in Florida, Texas and California
before returning to the UK in 2000 and whilst she enjoyed
the experience
and
picked
up her web design skills whilst living there, feels 'it's good to
be home'.
When she's not designing web sites, Cindy loves walking, photography,
travelling and the great outdoors
whatever the weather but definitely prefers the sun!
